In our first accredited CPD course of 2024, delivered in conjunction with leading training provider Tolley, Toni Trevett returns to provide a comprehensive update on employment law and what you need to know for the year ahead.
During the three hour session, Toni will:
- provide an overview of the essential employment law updates and what to expect in 2024 – a vital session given some important changes anticipated during the year; and
- review the basics people managers need to know, from recruitment to termination.
This session is suitable for all professional advisers and business managers who need to have an awareness of employment law in order to assess the impact recent developments may have on businesses, particularly those starting out or employing staff for the first time.
All our courses are free to attend and delegates quality for three hours of structured CPD if attending this live session being delivered by Tolley on our behalf.
Our trainer
Toni Trevett, CIPD, is a qualified and vastly experienced HR practitioner, mediator, consultant, trainer and coach specialising in employment law and employee relations. She sits part-time to hear cases for the Employment Tribunal judiciary, giving her an expert view in conducting investigations, grievances, disciplinary hearings and appeals.
Toni has held specialist roles in large and small companies, is a workplace coach and is regularly recommended for investigation and mediation work by leading solicitors and barristers.

During 2024, we will be running a series of structured and unstructured CPD webinars. Following the key stages in an SME’s lifecycle from starting out to maturity and beyond, our webinars will focus on the key themes of interest to SMEs and their professional advisers. The series covers a range of topics from employment law basics and cashflow management through to funding for growth and building to sell.
