Online CPD course delivered by Tolley
Friday 9th May 2025, 9:00am – 12:00pm
In our fifth accredited CPD course of 2025 delivered by leading training provider Tolley, we focused on understanding the nature of LLPs and the relevant legislation and reporting requirements.
In the session, we discuss how LLPs differ from other business structures in terms of accounting, including the specific LLP SORP which applies to LLP accounts, and use practical examples to illustrate the issues that often cause difficulty.
The three-hour session broadly covers:
- The legal framework for LLPs
- Current reporting requirements and examples from LLP financial statements
- Conversion issues for an existing partnership and use of LLPs by investment funds
- Tax treatment of LLPs
- The LLP SORP – impact of recent changes to UKGAAP
- Members’ agreements – key issues for the accounts
- Audit issues
Please note, CPD not available if watching a recording of the webinar on demand.
