In our first accredited CPD course of 2026 delivered by leading training provider Tolley, we looked at what’s new in employment law and what’s coming in 2026 and beyond.

Professional and business advisers need to be aware of recent developments in employment law to be able to assess any changes and identify potential risks that may impact their business as well as their clients’ businesses, both large and small.

The upcoming employment law changes in 2026 are significant and will impact both employers and employees alike. Many of the changes are part of a phased roll out of the new Employment Rights Act 2025.

During the session, Toni Trevett looked at the most common and useful areas in the field of employment law by reviewing important case law over the last year or so and looking at both recent and pending legislation.

The three-hour course focused on:

  • The past 12 months and what’s new in employment legislation
  • The many changes planned for 2026 and beyond
  • Key case law of late that shapes how people and situations are managed legally
  • Changes in statutory calculations

The event will take place virtually on Zoom. All our courses are free to attend and delegates qualify for three hours of structured CPD*.

*Please note, CPD not available if watching a recording of the webinar on demand.
