During this session, Hannah Griffin from the Disputes, Investigations and Valuations team at Quantuma will discuss the key considerations relating to share valuations.
Hannah will cover:

- Other valuation considerations including articles of association/shareholder agreements and methods of valuation
- Earnings valuations, net asset valuations and minority discounts in detail
Our speakers
Marcus Pilkington – Chartered Financial Planner at Pareto
Marcus has worked in financial services since 2002 and became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2009. Now an Associate Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), he is working towards full TEP status.
Marcus has extensive experience advising wealthy families and entrepreneurs, including specialist work in Court of Protection, trustee and deputyship matters.
At Pareto, he advises on personal and corporate financial planning, helping clients achieve their long-term goals through holistic, cash-flow-led planning.
Alex Brandreth – Chief Investment Officer at Luna Investment Management
Alex Brandreth is Chief Investment Officer at Luna, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy and chairs the Luna Investment Committee, guiding asset allocation and security selection. He also leads the Luna Model Portfolio Service.
Alex joined Luna in 2020 after nearly a decade at Brown Shipley, where he served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer. A recognised industry figure, he has appeared in Citywire’s Top 100 Wealth Managers and PAM Top 40 Under 40.
Hannah – Managing Director at Quantuma
Hannah is a Managing Director and leads our Disputes, Investigations and Valuations practice in the Midlands. Primarily based in Birmingham, she also spends time in the firm’s London office.
With over 20 years’ experience, Hannah is a seasoned practitioner in litigation support services and a forensic accounting expert witness with testifying expertise in the UK High Court.
She has experience in international arbitration, litigation, mediation, expert determination and negotiated settlements. She also regularly undertakes contentious business valuations in matters involving compulsory purchase, shareholder disputes and matrimonial proceedings.
