Our second Accentuate by K3 Hub of the year took place on Wednesday 4th March. In this one-hour session we analysed the OBR’s latest economic and fiscal forecast and the Chancellor’s statement to Parliament.
Rachel Reeves delivered her Spring Forecast on Tuesday 3rd March outlining her updated plans for managing the public finances while supporting economic growth – the Government’s overriding priority.
The statement comes at a time of higher-than-expected inflation, only a modest uptick in economic growth and continued concerns over public debt.
Will the statement focus on maintaining fiscal discipline, or could it include targeted measures to stimulate growth and rebuild business confidence? With continued scrutiny over the recent tax rises, businesses and individuals will be watching closely.
